Hi

I'm having some mail/pine problems. Hoping someone on the list can
help.

The server is a:
        OSF1 V2.0 240 alpha

It contains the mail spool. The mail spool is exported to the
clients, which were recently upgraded to:
        OSF1 V5.0 910 alpha

The entry on client's /etc/fstab is:
  server:/usr/var/spool/mail /usr/var/spool/mail nfs rw,bg,noac 0 0

The problem is that mail and pine are unusable. They basically hang.
I know it's an NFS problem, probably something to do w/ file locking.
But I don't know how to fix it, since the server is soooooo old.
Unfortunately, upgrading isn't an option right now. What options do I
need to put in /etc/fstab?

thanks
nancy
