NIS+C2 on new cluster broken?

Managers,

We have a DS20 server running NIS and providing NIS service to a cluster of
ES40s (all systems are V4.0F PK#4).

Now we have a new cluster of 3 ES40s for which we would like to use the
same NIS service. However, none of the NIS users are able to login on the
new cluster. Is there something specific we should be doing? We did the
following on the systems in the new cluster:

1. Install C2
2. Configure NIS
3. /usr/tcb/bin/convauth -d dfptv -v

When we run the above we get the following error:

  /var/yp/src/passwd
  /var/yp/src/passwd.ptmp
Can't update database entry for /var/yp/src/prpasswd
  Created database file /tcb/files/auth.db
  Created database file /var/tcb/files/auth.db
  adm
Failed to parse entry beginning with auth:u_name=auth:u_i
  Created database file /etc/auth/system/ttys.db
Failed to parse entry beginning with console:t_devname=co
  Created database file /etc/auth/system/devassign.db

I would appreciate any responses.

Thank you.
