rsh failure

Hi All,

I have an rsh problem. I use a /.rhosts file on each of my DPWS 600AU's and
can rlogin to either machine from the other machine all day. I can also rsh
(with no command specified) with no problems. As soon as I try to run a
command with rsh (eg rsh dpws03 ls) i get an "error" message back from the
machine that goes something like;

"Your password will expire on 'date' "

The command never runs on the other machine, i dont get any permission
denied errors either. The machines are called dpws01 and dpws03. dpws03 is
the machine that spits the errors back. The .rhosts file on each machine
contains ;

dpws01 root
dpws03 root

my hosts.equiv file is empty. I also use enhanced security and NIS. All
other machines on the network operate as expected, its just dpws03 that has
the problem.

Any help greatly appreciated.
