Thanks to all who responded. It looks like there was a process doing a copy
on a large data file. That seems to be what was causing the problem.

Admins,
I have a GS160 with 12 cpu's and 40 gb of memory running 5.1 patch
kit #3. From the cpuinfo graph I am getting high wait time on the cpu.
Due to my unfamiliarity with seeing high wait time. Does any body know what
can cause this or where I can start looking?
