I didn't receive any responses on this, but here is what I learned:
bootp does function at 100MB.
However, to get this to work, the NIC had to be configured at the SRM to Fast, on the Host and the Clients, and the ports servicing the nodes also needed to be set for 100MB. When I had the nodes set to Fast, but the switch set to autoneg., the Client links at the switch would drop back to 10MB when the bootp was broadcast. After setting the ports on the switch, everything stays at 100MB and comes right up.
