Issues with Tru64 4.0G and HSG80

Managers,
I am soliciting advice/comments/warnings regarding configuring an ES40
running Tru64 4.0G connected to an HSG80 array. Due to 4.0G's inability to
boot to a fiber channel array, I will need to configure the machine with an
internal, non-raid system disk. In order to RAID as much as possible, I was
thinking of installing /usr, /tmp, /var and swap on the HSG80 storage sets
and install root on one of two 18GB drives installed internally. Are there
any issues that might pop up if I have those filesystems on a seperate
bus/disk from root? I know the quick and easy answer would be to use Tru64
5.X to gain the multi-pathing functionality but unfortunately, our
application is only supported through 4.0G.

Thanks,

Allen
