OSes: 4.0D, 5.0A, 5.1
I am looking for information regarding the amount of memory that the
kernel allocates to a process and stack and whether it allows an
application to size them up.
I am also looking for recommendations on systems with 1Gb ram and 2Gb of
swap for the process and stack for named (8.2.x and 9.x). named is
currently terminating on occasion due to memory restrictions.
