The solution was:
As the keyboard connector is mounted on the main board the changing to a
new main board
was the right direction. Who could know that the new bought board was
also not working.
After another change of the main board, the error was gone, the keyboard
was detected, then.
The advices given in the different answers are to be done afterwards:
1. Set up the environment variables to the correct values in the SRM
console
2. Install the newest firmware
3. Install the newest SWXCRMGR software for DAC960
4. load ECU
5. Reboot the computer after plugging in new keyboards.
An important note is, that the serial connection via COM1 is working
in any case even if console is set to GRAPHICS.
