TLZ10-VA dipsw settings

Hi all,
I've tried to find this info on Compaq's website but given up.
(Why is it that on Seagate/Fujitsu/IBM/Exabyte I can get to config data
within about 3 clicks, but on Compaq I get nowhere within 300..)

I have a DS-TLZ10-VA DAT drive in a SBB carrier.
The carrier is in topgun blue, so I assume its a wide SCSI device
(the quickspecs say it is, anyway).
I have 14-slot SCSI shelves formed by daisy-chaining two together
using tri-link connectors. If I move the TLZ around in these
slots, it only takes SCSI addresses 0-6, whereas if I move a
disk around, it takes the full range of SCSI addresses 0-6, 8-14, so
I'm very confident that the configuration of the shelf adapter
cards is OK. (I have several sets configured identically and
they all support 14 disks in each pair with no problems)

There's a set of dip switches on the back of the TLZ, but nothing
in the userguide to tell me how to set them.
The userguide for my SBB-DLT drive, does have info on *its*
dipswitch settings, but if I apply them to the DAT tape it makes no
difference - the thing still only takes SCSI addresses 0-6 even if
I plug it into the high-address slots.

So, can anyone point me at config info for these darned things please.

Cheers,
Terry.
