NFS write Problems

Dear Managers,

A server running Digital Unix 4.0f supplies NFS share for our network and
we sometimes get a bunch of these messages on the console of the clients:

NFS3 write error 69 on host asenfs

Files are only written partially. Does the error 69 have a special
meaning?

What besides network hardware problems could be the cause of this?
