Hi...quick question. I just deleted a 7GB directory from one of our filesystems. The problem is that the output of "df" does not reflect this deletion. I figured it was just wrong, but the space was really there. I was doing a dbexport (informix) of one of our databases, and sure enough...it ran out of space. If I do a "du" everything in the filesystem reports correctly, but the df does not. I tried to look at the archives for this problem, but I can't seem to connect to the site. Anyone else seen this problem? And if so, how do you remedy it without a reboot? And what causes this in the first place. BTW...Alpha ES40, TU 5.1 pack 3. TIA
