I have two 5.1 XP1000 systems with Powerstorm 300 on which OpenGL
doesn't work, although xdpyinfo says the display has GLX. See also
the output of xglinfo below, though I don't know what it really means
when it lists the server extension, given it can't find it. [This is
from a 5.1 system, despite what xglinfo says.]
These systems appear to be configured the same as others on which it
works fine; in particular, Xserver.conf is the same, the .so files are
present, and I can't see any relevant error messages.
Any suggestions about what to check or how to debug it? Ta.
# gl_ivp
This is the OpenGL Installation Verification Program
This IVP will install colormaps for its test windows.
Other windows may go technicolor; please wait till the
IVP is complete and then assign focus to (click on) any
window to cause its colormap to be installed.
No OpenGL extension on display
