Thanx to all that replied...
the answer most people gave me was change the vm-swap-eager value in

Hi guys...
I have a machine that has half a gig of ram, and has allocated 2GB as swap
space. The machine runs samba. After about 72 hours of uptime, you get
messages that it can't allocate enough swap space and you have to halt and
reboot the machine. Anyone seen this before with the new 5.1A operating
system? Another server (Alpha 2100) ran the same applications as the ds20
and it never had this problem, although it is running 5.1, not 5.1A.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanx in advanced.
