who point out that "Processor Machine Check" as a panic string points
unambiguously to a hardware problem.  The phrase oddly didn't grab my
attention (the word "check", perhaps).  I've executed sys_check -escalate
and will be sending the results to Compaq.  Meanwhile, we continue to push
the processors hard and see if the problem happens again.
