Thanks for helping and pacience, Mr. Dan Harrington

********************************** Solution:

After I have installed a sniffer in one machine of my network, I can
discover that the service "lat" , in my alpha server, was generating the
decnet packages. I stopped the service using the command":

# /bin/sh /sbin/init.d/lat stop

After stop it, the decnet packages disappear of my network.

********************************** Problem:

have got an Alpha Server ES40 running Tru64 Unix version 5.1... I
have found a number of DECNet packages running on the LAN. Since I am
using a NSX9500 router, which cannot accept DECNet protocols, the
packages are overloading the net and being lost... I have measured at
least 43% package loss. Do anyone knows which service might be
generating such packages? and how can I find this out? to turn it
off!!!!!!! :)
