Monitor: setup and configuration

Admins,

I downloaded the current monitor program from a link on tru64.org. I gunzipped
it and untared it, I have read over the various README files and i don't see
where you compile it at. I did notice that it saved under a /usr directory in
my /var/tmp/ where I untarred it...should I have untared it in /.
