Please update your summary to make it clear that we do NOT provide ftp
server software for download. The server software we are running (I won't
tell you what it is ;-)) is available in source code form from other sites
on the Internet, but not from us. There are several open-source ftp server
packages for you to choose from (wu-ftpd, proftpd, publicfile, ...);
pick the one with the most appropriate combination of features,
trustworthiness, and licensing. As soon as you are compiling from source,
you have full control over the identification string returned, unless
the license forbids you to change it.
