Summary: Urgent: Problems with Trucluster v5.1a and Oracle RAC 9 i

Hi Gurus,

First of all thanks to Dr. Thomas Blin, the only person who replied.

The problem had two sources:

1 - The cluster interconnect, a cross fast ethernet cable, was
introducing instability because even if forced at the console 100Mb full
duplex, the DE60x were in fact working at 10Mb half duplex. That was
solved by adding a line to the inet.local of both members, forcing 100Mb
full duplex:
        /usr/sbin/lan_config -i ee0 -a 0 -s 100 -x 1

2 - The Oracle was hanging at the creation of the database, and
was necessary to install Oracle patches to solve the problem.

Thanks.
Pedro Cunha.

Is your customer by any chance trying to share the quorum disk
between Oracle and TruCluster? Won't work.

The panic message is pointing to the quorum disk. I suspect
the customer is trying to use the disk for multiple purposes.
