Utilizing Memory

I am two summaries behind I promise to catch up. Once concerning swap
allocation and one concerning the personality transplant or the personality
cloning of a 4100 series server into a ES40 series server which was sucessfull
by the way.

My question today concerns memory. Our old 4100 series server had 4 gigabytes
of memory. The personality of this server was transplanted into an ES40 with 32
gigabytes of memory.

What do I have to change using the kernel tuner to make this system see and use
the new memory? The last time we kernel tuned the system had 4 gigabytes.

Our Sightline Fortel performance tool shows the system to have 32 gigabytes of
memory but only 4 gigabytes of memory appears to get used.

We configured 20 some gigabytes of lazy swap. This is an Oracle 8 database
server.

Sincerely
Kevin Criss
