OT: BIND and the Internet from inside

This is off topic but the brain power on this list is awesome...
I need to run an outside DNS. I have BIND running internally on Tru64 5.1.
Instead of configuring a linux box to sit outside I'm thinking of running
another BIND daemon on my internal box using a different port. Then I can
put a conduit in place on my PIX firewall to map the second BIND process on
the non-standard port to the port 53 on the outside.

Bad idea?
