yup, it is a bad idea. The benefit I would gain by having a solid reliable
box for the outside isn't worth the security risk I would incur. Pretty
much what I thought but hope springs eternal. In any case, it would have
been a neat hack. Maybe in more ways than one. thanks for the responses!
