Dear Managers,
I've really enjoyed the comradery of this list over the past 6+
(sorry my RAM sometimes fails me) years. Not only have I answered questions,
but I've done my fair share of posting, also. I just wanted to thank you all
for the fellowship before I unsubscribe. My department's misguided
supervisors have decided to port over all our statistical research and
observational analysis to a WinNT/W2K platform. (Some of our analysts and
researchers are already complaining because the Windows versions of Emacs
and SPSS don't behave the way they're supposed to...). I am being 'retired'
(unemployed) at the end of the month. And my faithful old AlphaServer will
have it's plug pulled in another month or so. I remember when we got rid of
our old VAX... but I digress. All the best to you and yours. And hopefully
I'll be subscribed again the near future. Happy Holidays, all!
