Hi all,
Thomas Blinn suggested that i run the /sbin/advfs/verify command on
the advfs domain after unmounting the filesets belonging to that domain.
I was unable to unmount the filesets as my oracle database had a
datafile residing on one of the filesets and since the advfs domain was not
accessible,
i could not even shutdown the database.
I therefore, brought the system down to the single user mode and to
my surprise i was allowed access to this particular domain. I still did run
the verify command on the domain and then moved to the multiuser mode.
All's fine now.
I'm extremely thankful to Thomas Blinn for his prompt response.
Regards,
Rekha
