Hello,
Our config :
- Alpha Server DS20E bi-processors with 1 Go ram
- TruCluster 5.1a
We have same problem and we see an increase of wired memory allocated. This memory is not free and we must reboot the system two times the week. We observe the problem with the unix command vmstat -P and the value of malloc increase about 4000 pages of 8k by day.
Since 15 nov, have you find a solution, and if yes, send it us.
Thanx in advanced.
Cordialement.

Hi guys...
I have a machine that has half a gig of ram, and has allocated 2GB as swap
space. The machine runs samba. After about 72 hours of uptime, you get
messages that it can't allocate enough swap space and you have to halt and
reboot the machine. Anyone seen this before with the new 5.1A operating
system? Another server (Alpha 2100) ran the same applications as the ds20
and it never had this problem, although it is running 5.1, not 5.1A.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanx in advanced.
