Hi ,
Can you please help me in resolving 2 issues.
1. I gaon through oracle link and it has been found
that Oracle RDBMS 8.1.7 will NOT run on EV5 or earlier
system . Now I want to know that whether oracle 9i is
supported on EV56 chipset of alpha systems. Becoz I
have 4 nos of alpha system with EV56 chipset and Want
to upgrade for oracle 9i.
2. We are using Alpha 8400 turbo laser with 4 No of
CPU(EV5- 5/300 Mhz ) running oracle 8.0.4. Now We want
to run oracle 9i on alpha 8400 ( of course after CPU
upgrade ) . Whether cpu upgrade path is available or
not and if yes Whether oracle 9i will run on EV56 or
above .
Any help will be highly appriciated.
