Wow! That was fast -- even before I got a copy of my own posting:

the equivalent to Sun's /etc/defaultrouter in Tru64 is /etc/routes.

Some further details:

=====
Yes, it's /etc/routes and is more capable than Sun's defaultrouter
(you can put in other static routes not just the default one).

=====
It is the first line in /etc/routes. Ie. instead of having a file called
/etc/defaultrouter to carry the ip-address of the default gateway, Tru64 has
a line that says "default <ip-address of default gateway>" in /etc/routes
instead.

======
The file is /etc/routes. You can man the routes(4) man page for the syntax,
but basically, your entry would look like this:

default ip_address

ORIGINAL POSTING:

I've been told (by a Sun administrator) that there is a problem with what is
the the equivalent of Sun's /etc/defaultrouter on our Tru64 (4.0E) server.
Does anybody know what Tru64's equivalent of Sun's /etc/defaultrouter is?

Thanks,
Andy
