Thanks to Dr. Thomas P. Blinn for the only response, here is his
suggestion:
It's possible that doing an AdvFS verify on them will address the problem.
Otherwise, just put them off in a directory that will never get touched and
don't lose sleep over it,
but do worry about what caused the problem in the first place. (If it's
AdvFS, there are all KINDS of things that might cause this..)
