Installation failures of 5.0a on a new DS20E

I have a DS20e with a KZPCC controller SRM at 6.1.
I loaded 5.1a, with no problems, but am having problems loading 5.0a.
When booting with the command
>>>boot dqa0
The server boots from the cd, but hangs at the following prompt.

ATA1: CYPRESS 82C693

I suspect that it may be having problems with KZPCC controller.

Any ideas.
Desperate!!!
