SUMMARY: bootable CD?

Hello Everyone...

Thanks for all the great information. What we are trying to actually do
with this bootable CD is to create system CD that will boot up into a small
version of Unix and I believe we can do this by following the best practice
below, eliminating what we don't want/need and going from there. If we
achieve some modicum of success I will let the list know how we did it.

Cheers,

Todd,

I believe there is a Best Practice document in regard to making such a
bootable CD:
http://www.tru64unix.compaq.com/docs/best_practices/sys_bps.html
This one is about Building a Consolidated Firmware CD. Hopefully, it gives
you the hints.

Hi Gang,

I have a developer in my group that needs to make a bootable cd with TRU64 -
How does one begin to do something like this?

Cheers,
