AS 2000 5/250 SCSI problem

I have an AS 2000 5/250 with a Internal StorageWorks shelf configured
for the dual bus configuration, where four of the removable disks are on
a RAID controller and the other four are using just regular SCSI
(SCSI-2 ?)(a SHOW DEVICE at the console list the SCSI controller as a "NCR
53C810").

Anyways, I went to switch from the dual bus configuration to a single bus
configuration, as seen on page 4-45 of the Owner's Guide. The
StorageWorks shelf is now configured to use the RAID controller and I had
no problem configuring the RAID set, etc. All is fine on the RAID
controller bus.

The problem is that I can't see my CD drive nor the 8mm, which are on the
regular SCSI bus. When I boot up, I get six lines of the below..

        waiting for PKA0.7.0.1.0 to poll...

When I do a SHOW DEVICE, the SCSI controller (the PKA0.7.0.1.0) no longer
displays like it did with the dual bus configuration. Also, it can no
longer see the CDrom and 8mm drive, which are on this bus.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I am missing here? I suspect that I
might have to terminate the SCSI ribbon cable that used to plug into the
StorageWorks shelf but I couldn't find a terminator to try it.
This bus also has an external connection on the back of the system and it
has never been terminated, as the manual suggests, but it worked fine with
the dual bus config.

Thanks,
