Summary: Sharing user directories between network without securit y concerns

Thanks out to all that answered!!! The list is too long to name names.

I probably didn't state clearly enough that the R&D Administrator needs to
be able to install and maintain software packages, but that's alright I
received enough information without this aspect.

The suggestions:

1.) Use SUDO - which I need to take a look at because I am not sure it will
allow me to kill low level processes - corba agents running from root?
2.) Use DOP in 5.x - will take a look at it, but we are a 4.0x and 5.x
house, so this doesn't cover all bases - could be good interim solution...
3.) NFS = no file security anyways - so it shouldn't matter and they should
give him root and trust him not to monkey around( I personally agree with
this philosophy, if you can't trust an engineer in the same company - who do
you trust? )
