We've figured out the issues around our Rolling Upgrade problem.
Summary of problem:
"clu_upgrade -v check setup 1" came back with an error that some members
appeared to be running with tagged files
"clu_upgrade clean" came back with a previous stage hasn't completed or
clean has already been run
"clu_upgrade status" came back with the members appearing to be in single
user mode or in the process of a boot (even though both nodes are up and
functional)
"sysconfig -h <node>-mc0 -s generic" came back with "framework error:
connection problems"
Resolution:
The problem ended up being 3-fold:
1.) there was a typo in our /.rhosts file
2.) cfgmgr was commented out in inetd.conf
3.) cfgmgr was within a tcpwrapper
I fixed these issues, ran HUP on inetd (on both nodes), and our clu_upgrade
appears to be working.
Thanks again!
