The unanime response was to use :

mount -o dual -t advfs my_domain#my_fileset /my_mount

The -o dual is the option to allow to do what I want.

My question :

We have search the archive about this subject, I have found some question but no answer.

We have HSG80 with ACS 8.6S-5, before installing the cluster we have made some tests with the snapshot option.

We have made a snapshot of a device containing an Advfs domain and we have mount the snapshot on one of my other machine. All work fine.

Now all my servers was in the cluster.

I can make the snapshot of my device containing my domain.
But I can't mount it at the same time of the original one on any machine in the cluster. I receive I/O errors.

If I dismount the origin fileset, I can mount the snapshot.

Question: ist it normal?

If yes, what can I do with the snapshot option, if I can't mount my file system for backup at the same time on my cluster.

TIA

Jeff
