Dear Tru64 Managers,

We recently have changed the motherboard of our Alpha 300 V4.0D. After
rebooting the machine, we noticed that we lost our X windows (CDE) and the
machine only had a console to logining. We are sure that it did ran
correctly before.

We have a ATI64 graphics card, and we have added the card under single user
mode with iconfig, add_mach64. Under iconfig, it show us that ISA-VGA is
enabled. After rebooting, we still didnot have CDE, with sizer -gt, it give
us a : GENERIC, very strange.

Could anyone help us? Many Thanks in advance.
