Hi managers,

Requiremnet:
Formatting the failed drive of 2.1gb capacity.

Resources available:

we have ra3000 raid boxes supporting Alpha servers
4100 in cluster environment with 18gb HDD(hotplugable)
placed in 6 slots, can i place the 2.1gb HDD(hot
plugable) in the free slot available(7th slot) and i
can format the failed drive (2.1gb) using Tru64 unix
4.0f. The raid box HDD are supporting real time data
flow and i think formating the failed drive will not
affect the other drives. Can i format using "SCU"
utility.
My doubt is, does Raid box supports two different
capacity hard disks drives eg. 2.1gb and 18gb in the
same box. Even i want clarrification for BA356 storage
box supporting Digital unix ver 4.0b

Any suggestions will be helpful
Thanx in adv.

regards
chandra babu
