Intergraph Graphics Cards

Hi,

I have a couple of old AlphaStation 500 that started life running NT. I'm
trying to use them with Tru64 5.1a but finding that it does not recognise
the Graphics Card. Its an Intergraph MSMT259 and appears to be based on the
Cirrus GD5440 chip.

Looking through the archives I see lots of similar questions and generally
the response appears to be to install Open3D, but not for version 5.x ! I
did find one suggestion that drivers are available from
www.support.compaq.com/open3d and the release notes for Tru64 5.1a says that
PowerStorm drivers are there, and there are some ....

Jon Brinkmann posted a partially complete table identifing some cards in
terms of PowerStorm XXX but mine were not listed. The older drivers there
appear to support only version 4.x. In particular, the 3D30 which is at
least a Cirrus chip, stops at 4.0F.

Can anyone suggest an alternative source ? Or would it be worthwhile trying
to install a version 4.0F driver ??

David
