I know I should know this, but I can't find any confirmation one way or the
other. Will cp or scp copy a file that is in the process of being
populated? For instance, I am doing an scp of file fred from machine A to
Machine B. During that scp, I try to do an scp of file fred from machine B
to machine C (initiated from machine C). Will I get an incomplete file on C
and will I know that it is incomplete? If so, is there a way to tell
machine C not to copy fred until it is complete.
