Moving cards in a DS20

Hi,

We're in the process of moving to 5.1A but are hitting a few problems.

Looking through the archives, I believe that we should be able to move
cards between PCI slots, and the OS should detect where they are without
having to mess around with the kernel etc. However this doesn't appear to
be happening.

We have two similar, but not identical DS20's, ie with the same cards but
in different slots, one live on 4.0F, one testing for 5.1A.
The aim is to build a system disk on a fibre channel SAN, with 5.1A on
the test server, and then get the live server to boot off that disk, to
make the upgrade quicker.

If I install a new copy of 5.1A onto the test DS20. Everything works
fine.
I then move the combined SCSI / ethernet card (KZPCM-DA) from PCI slot x
to PCI slot y.
On booting the ethernet adapter is not recognised.
So I've then booted from the generic kernel, and done a doconfig, however
this then puts the ethernet adapter onto tu1 rather than tu0.
I could reconfigure the network to be on tu1 rather than tu0, but I don't
believe I should need to do this. Surely the OS should be recognising
that this is the first ethernet adapter and name it properly as tu0, or
am I missing something ?

Both machines are on the latest firmware.

Any advice will be gladly received.
