hi all,
I have a disk which is part of a mirror in a RA7000 array with
2 hsz70 controllers. With output from dia and help from compaq storage
support, we have located this disk and need to mark it failed, so
it can be pulled and a replacement installed.

I don't want the hot spare kicking in. using command console, would I
just delete the disk from the mirror, pull it and install the new disk?

The system does not think it is a failed disk, its just logging way too
many errors.

any suggestions on the best way to remove and install replacement are
welcomed.
