SAN & HSG80 in Tru64 V4.0g

I have a simple SAN with six shelves of 10 drives each. These drives are
set up into 28 mirrorsets and spares. There are two HSG80 controllers and
two 8 Port EL switches as well as two HBAs in a DS-20E running Tru64 Unix
V4.0G. Now, here is the problem. I really would like to be able to access
all 28 mirrorsets, but between the HSG80 firmware only allowing unit numbers
in the ranges 0-99 and 100-199 and Tru64 V4.0G only allowing access to SCSI
IDs 0-7 on each exported SCSI bus, I am only able to reach 15 devices (one
port, D0, is taken for the command console). Now, HSZ70's allowed you to
tell the host that the controller had more SCSI IDs simply by listing them
as long as there were IDs on the chain. Is there a way to do this with
HSG80s and if so, how? Oh, and before the suggestion is made to go to 5.X
and solve this problem that way, this is not an option due to the
applications running on this particular machine.
