Hi,
How can I define a system-wide environment variable (e.g. BSE_SCI=/usr2/bse) so services can
react on these variable.
When I declare these variable in /etc/profile only the root-user recognises this variable.
Now we want to declare a global or system-wide environment variable so client applications from windows PC's shall know the
content of this variable. These clients call a server application running on the UNIX host.
Thanks in advance,
