SUMMARY: HSx80 cache modules

I think Bryan Lavelle from Compaq said it best:

        "You LIKE asking for problems? Spend all that money on
controllers like that and risk your data to save a few more dollars?"

True. I did forget how much we spent on those controllers. The
consensus was that it was more than likely custom memory, or otherwise
non-standard.

Not Tru64 specific; but certainly Alpha / Compaq specific.
We have a RA8000 -- (24 SBB disk array, two HSZ80 controllers, EMU, 2
cache modules -- the whole 9 yards).
However, we ordered the cache modules with 64 MB each (32MB effective
because of cache mirroring).  Do these modules use standard DIMMs, or
must I buy Compaq?  
Does anyone have any experience with using off the shelf parts for this?
