SUMMARY: newfs without confirmation

The question:
I want to automate the newfs of a partition however can't get past
the confirmation prompt.

The answer:
Use disklabel to change the partition type to "unused." Worked like a
champ.

Another suggested solution is to use an "expect" script available from
http://expect.nist.gov/
