Pulling out LSM from a system

     Fellow sysadmins,

Is it possible to take a Filesystem that is mounted on an LSM volume,
remove the volume and device from LSM, manipulate the disklabel on the
device and after changing the link under /etc/fdmns/<domainname> to
point to the device instead of the LSM volume, mount the Filesystem
     back without losing data?

Has anyone done this successfully on a V5.1 system?

Clusters(Probably doesn't matter but just thought I'd ask)?

Would you modify the disklabel to change the LSMpublic partition to
AdvFS and the LSMpriv partition to unused(I am concerned with sliced
disks) or would you merely place a completely new disklabel by
     "disklabel -wr <dskxxx> <storagetype>"?

Also in /etc/fdmns/<domainname> dir, would you change the link to
point to you previously public/now AdvFS partition or the entire disk
     i.e. <dskxxc>?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
