Hi managers
I have one question..:

I need to run a very large backup (more than 9GB)in tar format, that's
because it is only way to transport the data from the Tru64 to the HP-UX
platform (you know, no vdump..etc..).

BUT when i'm going backup the large file appears the following error
message:

#tar cvf /dev/rmt2h expFMEPD.dmp
tar: expFMEPD.dmp : File too large for archive format, truncating to
8589934591 bytes

There is anything that i can do to override the size limit? Any ideas
about my problem are greatly aprecciatted
