dcop server problem (KDE3.0)

Hi there,

I've just installed KDE 3.0. I used binaries from
ftp://ftp.radar.tu-graz.ac.at/pub/kde2/tru64/latest_version.

then i did:

# /sbin/init.d/xlogin stop & start

After entering user & pass comes an error with dcopserver.
The server is not running (ps -ef) and when i try to start it manually:

# /usr/local/kde3/bin/dcopserver
sh: iceauth: not found
ICE Connection rejected!

DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason :
None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based
authentication failed
ICE Connection rejected!

DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed Authentication Rejected, reason :
None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based
authentication failed
DCOPServer self-test failed.
sh: dcopserver_shutdown: not found

#

I cannot find any config file reflecting dcop server. I haven't installed
any older version of KDE.

One more thing, though i have a line "/usr/bin/X11/xhost +localhost" in
/sbin/init.d/xlogin, i had to rerun it everytime i started X to allow other
users than root to start X programs. Just wondering, if it has anything to
do with dcop authentication.

Anyone has the same problem ??
