Hi all,
I am trying to telnet to a computer on the Internet through a Windows
proxy with a Tru64 machine. For some reason the application's menus do not
show up on the screen as they should (it is not seeing tab or newline
characters as it should). I have tried a few different proxy programs (for
other reasons) and since the results are the same, I think its my UNIX
settings, if it can be fixed at all. I have read in some proxy documentation
that UNIX machines sometimes have trouble telneting through proxies because,
unlike Windows, UNIX sends and recieves additional info. that proxies don't
handle well. Does anyone know how I can get around this?
