Thanks to all who responded.
The general consensus was either do this at your own risk, or as Bryon
Lavelle (_at_COMPAQ.com) put it:
"The bulletin clearly states that the prerequisite for that patch is kit 4
in the case of 5.1. You can NOT install this patch against any other kit
version."
So I guess I start rolling Patch Kit 4 into the cluster......
(It's just a frustrating process for me. For security reasons I've been
forced to Kerberized my systems and the clu_upgrade commands don't seem to
like our Kerberized rsh at all. I usually have to search the scripts to
locate the commands that fail, then decode the variables and run them
separately. That's how I finally got Patch Kit 3 in. Unfortunately I can't
turn on normal rsh for the roll, Computer Security does random scans to
ensure all system are in Kerberos Compliance, if your not, you can lose your
DNS entry.)
