summary: max-open-hard SAMBA

Hi all,
          As always this list saved the day.
Lot of people responded .
The way out is to define in smb.conf file
[global]
 max open files = 4086
Also I had hit a bug on samba-2.2.3a , I had to upgrade to 2.2.4 (it has
been running for 10 hrs no problems).
Thanks to Rob and Dr. Blinn for giving me the solution.
