I'm working on some disaster recovery scripts, and my objective is to
automate everything as much as possible. My objective is to have a procedure
that says "run this script on the spare machine and *poof* you'll have a
bootable copy of machine B".
One thing that I'd like to be able to do is determine the console device
names for disks that I restore stuff to, so I can automatically set
bootdef_dev, or at least display specific commands to make it happen.
Is there some utility that will take a V5 device special file and tell me
what the corresponding console device name would be? For example, I know I
restored the backups to dsk10; how can I determine that that corresponds to
DRA0 at the console level?
Thanks in advance.
